School Data
All data related to your school that you input into the Service, including but not limited to student names, class names, subjects, grades, attendance records, financial data, and payment information ("School Data"). This data is considered confidential and is owned by you. We only process it on your behalf to provide the Service.
AI-Generated Data
Content generated by our AI features, such as report card comments, lesson notes, and exam questions. This content is derived from the School Data you provide but is stored as part of your account to deliver the Service.
Derivative Data
Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Service, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Service to:
- Create and manage your account and subscription plan.
- Provide the core functionalities of the application, such as record keeping, data management, and timetable scheduling.
- Process payments and subscriptions through our third-party payment processor, Paystack.
- Use your School Data as input for AI features to generate relevant content like report card comments and lesson plans. The data sent to the AI model is not stored or used by the AI provider for any other purpose.
- Email you regarding your account, subscription status, or service updates.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Service.
- Respond to your support requests and resolve disputes.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Personal Data or School Data with third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes. We may share information we have collected about you in the following situations:
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processing (Paystack) and cloud hosting (Firebase/Google Cloud). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Data Transfer Feature: If you use the Data Transfer feature, you are explicitly authorizing us to share selected School Data with another registered user whom you specify.
5. Data Security and Your Rights
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information and School Data. We leverage Firebase's robust security features, including Firestore Security Rules and Firebase App Check, to protect your data from unauthorized access.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal and school data at any time. You can manage most of your data directly through the application's interface. For complete data removal, you can use the "Clear All School Data" function in the Settings page or delete your account, which will permanently remove all associated data.
6. Data Retention
We will retain your Personal Data and School Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete all your data from our active databases within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies and other tracking technologies on the Service to help customize the Service and improve your experience. When you access the Service, your personal information is not collected through the use of tracking technology. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies, but be aware that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Service.

The Service is intended for use by teachers and school administrators. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. All student data is entered and managed by the authorized school user, who is assumed to have obtained the necessary consent from parents or guardians as per local regulations.
